Will Pixel 2's USB 3 to 3.5mm adapter work for HTC U11?

I seem to have misplaced my original adapter that came with the phone. I found someone on craigslist selling Pixel 2's adapter. Does any of you know if Pixel's adapter works with HTC U11?

I believe so.

I can confirm personally that HTC adapter works with the Pixel 2, and have read reports of other adapters (such as the Razer one) working in both U11 and Pixel 2. I think that at least HTC, Google, Essential and Razer have stuck to the same USB audio standard.
