will system app remove after factory reset?

Hi all,

This is my first (and hopefully very silly) question  .

I have HTC Explorer (rooted) with custom rom (JaggyRom_3.2.1). I install avast antivirus, android lost and hide it app and give them administrator rights, so now I know they cannot be uninstalled easy. Now in case someone reset it factory default then surely they all will removed.

My ques is that if I make it system app, using manual procedure (using EX File Explorer) or using Titanium backup pro, then they'll remain on the phone after factory reset????
What is the best way to make it a part of ROM so that it'll not be removed untill flush new rom.

Regards,
Khurram

You don't need anti-virus, for one.
And you can just re-install afterwards if you do want it, can't you? I wouldn't try to make it a system app; that just doesn't sound like something you should do, to me.
I could be wrong, though.

Welcome to the site, I will digress you to your device forum as each phone is different, they will best help you there, good luck

I missed to mentioned that I am using avast anti-theft app. Although his app create custom upadate.zip file, so that I'll update my rom. I used Rom Manager to update my rom but I got error while updating. Thats why I wanna make them my system app. hopefully I much cleared my question

always make a backup. i use titanium backup to create system apps. you can remove them with tb or root explorer. factory rest will not remove system apps or the launcher would be gone. hope this helps you

Thanks kevindroid,

I almost got my answer. I need to make it more clear.

I am making user app to system app using titanium backup, so that it cannot be removed when factory reset, in other sense, I am making it a part of the my installed custom ROM.... AM I RIGHT?????
