and from the website...
"Today [April 30th 2010], we have a big announcement to make: we're excited to announce that we've been acquired by Google!"
An important BumpTop announcement

I sure as hell hope that Bumptop becomes an integral part of android. Especially since they announced today that Gingerbread will be focusing heavily on the user experience and hopes to eliminate the need for custom roms from users, carriers and manufacturers.

I know I would love to have a tablet powered by android with this UI. Heck, I'd love a phone with the option to enable this UI.

This ui is much more advanced than anything apple/Microsoft could come up with. Apple may be 'stuck' with the wall o' apps UI for the iPhone because it is so iconic.

I thought it looked pretty tacky at first, but then I watched the video. That said, it will take a lot of graphics processing power; to get decent battery life from a portable device using it will be difficult.

Anyone else notice it was running on windows?

But yeah, that rocked

Tapatalk. Samsung Moment. Yep.

I've seen it on laptops at local electronics stores. Honestly I found it annoying. In my view it was rather sluggish, the "walls" took up too much of the screen real estate and objects didn't track to fingers. Maybe it was a horsepower problem but if so I'd hate to see how it runs on a phone or tablet; especially with the trend for tablets going toward less processing power.

I've only seen tablets getting more processor power...
