Just wonder if we use whatsapp web to access whatsapp , will it drain the phone battery ?

No
I have used WHATS APP for years. It doesnt pull power from your ph. I know that this Samsung 8'S's battery SUCKS . First couple months it was great. But now I have to plug in at night or sooner sometimes. I just get rid of a trojen Plugin that was attached to some app I downloaded I guess. That started the battery drain big time!! Watch out for the shitty apps that say ads and in app ads. They send those PLUGINS. such a pain.

I think is because of the app you downloaded, nothing to do with Samsung 8'S's battery.

"It will quickly be drained"? Have you actually used the app?

I do use it, and the effect on the battery is negligible. WhatsApp has to run a background service in order to alert you to new message, so it's in contact with WhatsApp's servers anyway. Using WhatsApp Web on a computer makes virtually no difference to the amount of communication that your phone does, and has no measurable impact on your phone's battery. And this is direct experience of using it for several years on more than one phone.

No, using WhatsApp Web on your computer does not directly drain your phone's battery. WhatsApp Web works as an extension of your phone, and the battery consumption is primarily on your computer while using the web interface. However, keeping your phone connected to the internet and active might use some battery, but it's generally minimal.
