Window (yuandao) n101 versus Ampe a10... opinions? experiences?

Hi all,
I am wanting to join the Extraordinary League of Tablet Users (yourselves) and am looking to buy my first tablet. As I have no real experience with tablets I am finding it hard to speak the tech and am finding it difficult to compare the two tablets I currently have my eye on.

Both are for under $230ea
both from australian sellers
both 10.1inch
both 10 point capacitive touch screen
both ips display and screen res 1280x800
both gpu mali 400 1080p
both ram 1g
and both android 4.0.4

the only real difference is the CPU
AMPE A10-
cpu allwinner A10, cortex a8

OR

WINDOW/YUANDAO N101-
cpu rockchip rk3066, cortex a9

I don't really know what that means other than 9 is higher than 8.

which would you choose? what is your opinion on the specs of these tablets? has anyone got one of these tablets?

I have watched youtube reviews but didn't find much help.

Thanks.

These are budget off-brand Chinese devices, so may not give you the best ideas of what a good Android tablet is like, especially if you've never had one before. I'd recommend you have a look the Google Nexus 7 or one of the Samsung Galaxy Tabs.

do some searching on the web.

I'm sold on the N101.

It performs on par with the asus transformer and slightly beats the Nexus 7 for price/performance/expansion.
