Windows explorer type app for Tab2

One thing that has always annoyed me with my Galaxy Tab2 10.1 is that it doesn't have a file explorer (I don't think) something along the lines of windows explorer.....does it? Or is there an app that does something similar? I am sure I am just being an old school fuddy duddy because I don't want to let go of MY way of doing things with files, but keep in mind, I am: (1) Old, (2) blonde, (3) set in my ways.
My level of intelligence has long been suspect too.... just ask my wife

On Samsung devices it's an app called 'my files'

But you can download file managers from the play store.
Some suggest amaze (free), es file explorer pro (paid) and many others.

File managers let you copy, move, rename, share, and many more options for managing your files.

Are you saying that this "my files" is already on my tablet somewhere? I haven't found it, if so

"My Files" came with my Note 10.1 (second generation), but that's an almost 2 years newer model.

There are however plenty in the Play Store. I'd avoid the popular ES File Explorer because there are privacy concerns with that one. The ones I've used most are X-Plore, Solid Explorer and Root Explorer (which also has a non-root version just called Explorer, by Speed Software, though Root Explorer also works on non-rooted devices, just can't use root capabilities).
