Also I'll continue to not use android auto unless Google can fix it properly.

It works for me. Well, except for the whole inability to receive phone calls with it... that's kinda broken

Actually, upon further investigation it appears that the subsidiary is trying to use the licensed brand name "Motorola" to mimic the AAWireless, an Indiegogo crowdfunded project that is currently in production and shipping. I would be very surprised if the creators of AAWireless don't lawyer up for theft of their proprietary design and firmware. Hmmmm
