Wireless Blu-ray players for android

I was wondering if anyone found a way to play blu-ray movies with out ripping them to a SD card? The only thing I found was an optical SMART Hub from Samsung and that only plays dvds. Some of the other uses of the hub would be nice to have too.

Presumably the Samsung is a DVD drive and not a Blu-ray drive. You can get USB Blu-ray drives that usually plug into PCs, if the device has USB OTG, not sure if one of them would work, because you'd also have to find an app that can play Blu-ray discs, maybe VLC for Android can?

Yeah I'd say VLC player should be able to do that. Question I'd have though is would the phone have enough power to power a drive? I've got plug and play external hard drives that my note 3 or tab pro won't power up and run.
