Wireless Charger Query

Hi. I've just got an S6 today, love it so far, anyway I had the S4 before and have 2 of the S4 wireless charging pads.

May seem like a stupid question but I can't find an answer online.

Is there any need for me to buy the S6 wireless charger or am I good to just keep the S4 ones that i have?

Is there much differencr between them or some reason why I should get the S6 one?

No problem using ANY Qi charger, which is what your S4 charger was most likely. The charging coil is in the almost exact center of the back if you need to fiddle with alignment to get it charging.
 
It technically works but the "ber-bloop" noise as it kept connecting and disconnecting during the night drove me crazy.

It's easier to just stuff a cable in it.
 
That's odd because my daughter has an S4 and her phone does not work with our wireless charger. Wife and I have S6's but her S4 will not charge on our pad.

The Samsung Wireless Charging Pad is Qi certified by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and is compatible with all Qi-enabled devices including from Samsung: Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S 5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy Note 3 (these Galaxy smartphones require Wireless Charging Battery Covers, sold separately) as well as the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 active, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note5 which do not require additional charging battery doors.
