Help Wireless charging and the magnetic holders?

I've always used a tetrax holder for the last few years roughly since my s5 and s7, my s7 never had an issue it was in a sprigen tough armor case with the bobble for the holder on the back and charged perfectly fine, now with my new s9 it simply will not charge with the bobble anywhere on the back?
Anyone else suffered this and/or has a fix working option?

The bits that attach to the phone like these..

So it's basically a lump of iron or steel? Which more than likely will affect induction(wireless) charging. And the S9 is objecting to it I guess. I've only ever used induction charging briefly, when I had an Samsung Note7.

Thing is a mass of metal anywhere near a high-frequency induction coil, and you've effectively got this...

Well yes I suppose in a fashion, just wondering why the s9 differs from the s7 as one worked and one doesn't, the s9 recognizes the wireless and says fast charging etc but then the charger just flashes blue which I think just means charging failed or stopped..

Yeah.. Induction is caused by fluctuating magnetic waves, kinda like how a generator produces electric by spinning a magnet near copper wires.. Adding a magnet (or chunk of steel) to the device will mess up the mag field and inhibit the fluctuations that cause charging.. Especially the magnet addition alone as it'll basically create a magnetic forcefid that'll overpower the Qi chargers waves

Anyone sussed this yer?, I just bought a magnetic qi charger from ebey which seemed to work OK in the van bet then the supplied ring still won't work with my Samsung wireless charger, this is a terrible oversight by Samsung in 2018 this should just be something that's works..

I did find a decent one which I ordered from eBay that's does work but annoyingly for me it's no good as it doesn't work with the home Samsung wireless fast charger as the ring supplied to achieve a good magnetic grip on the car charger means the Sammy charger cuts out.
But for anyone that isn't bothered about wireless charger at home or is happy to have none Samsung at home check ebay out...
