Wireless Charging

I know that the Xperia Z didn't come with wireless charging built-in as there are a few Qi wireless charging cases available online as aftermarket accessories.

However, while I was skimming through a mobile phone parts store (rounded.com), among the list of parts for the Xperia Z is this wireless charging module. (Clicky here: Sony Xperia Z L36h wireless charging module).

The dimensions seems like that of the Xperia Z. What confuses me is the description of that part:

New wireless charging module for Sony Xperia Z L36h. This part is also called: inductive charging, wireless charging module. With this part the wireless charging module is replaced. Charging the Xperia Z without a wire requires a wireless charging kit/pad.


This Sony Xperia Z L36h wireless charging module is shipped in protected condition by Rounded.com.

"Replaced", like it actually already exists? :hmmmm2:

I can only assume that they mean the case would cover the charging area used by the dock.
