Wireless to my backup drive

I recently purchased a Nexus and it is my first Android phone. I also just bought a wireless backup hard drive and would like to backup my phone data to the hard drive wirelessly. Preferably, when I am near my local wifi connection, I would like an app or process that would detect file changes on my phone and automate the sync process. I know there are a million sync apps but I am not sure how to set this up. I will use a cloud storage as a third option to backup but would like to utilize my physical drive as well. With my laptop, I just created a Z drive which is the wireless sync to the backup drive. I know you can't create drives on Android so how would I set something like this up? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!
