Hello Android Forums!
In the next few weeks I will be making the switch from an iPhone to a Galaxy Note 3. So, naturally, I'm doing as much planning as I can and looking for replacement apps for things I do frequently.
For my work, I frequently record tutorials on my mobile devices. I do this by sharing my iOS device's screen using AirPlay and a wonderful PC app called Reflector, that essentially tricks the iOS device into thinking your computer is an Apple TV. Anyway, it works like a charm. Then I record the screen with Camtasia, and the result is a nice clean video of my iOS screen.
I've done some research on this for the Galaxy Note 3, but haven't found much. Apparently it's not Miracast compliant, or at least I saw that somewhere. Being a relative Android novice I'd rather avoid rooting my device if I can, and I'd like to avoid purchasing more hardware if possible.
