Help Wm8650

Hi, I am trying do a few things, I hope someone can help figure it out..

1. I am trying to get rid of the chinese android market on this tablet. I found the file com.wonderappstore.wondermedia-device3-release-110408.apk in the /app file, however I cannot delete files from this folder, or at least have not be able to figure it out.

does anyone have advice on how to remove that application?

2. that weather widget on the home screen only displays 24/military time, i.e 7:15pm is shown as 19:15pm. I cant find the settings or options to change this to standard 12 hour time, is this an option? and can this widget be removed from the homescreen?

I have not rooted this device as that seems a bit beyond my knowledge at this point, so I am hoping there are fixes without having to do that.

You cannot remove stock applications that were built into the firmware without new firmware.

If your tablet doesn't have real android market, you may want to change firmware anyway.

Seems to work ok for me. Read the directions. It's very easy, download, unzip, run a file with your SD card plugged into the computer, put sd card into tablet, turn on.

It will give you root access and also real android market with no chinese fake market.

Sadly, there's nothing you can do about the time display on that wmt temperature program. You can add your city by giving it the zipcode for your city. You may need both parts of the zipcode instead of the usual 5 digit one.
