Sorry but you'll have to convert it into an mp4, Personally I use Videora to convert mine. It's free too

I discovered last night that my HTC Desire will play WMV3 files but not WMV1 or WMV2, Windows Media encoder 9 encodes to WMV3 by default so you could try that.
