Wondering How I "Paste" text after Copying it

Hi everyone,

I am VERY new to Android (I just got my 1st wireless phone 2 days ago and it IS an android btw... Which I LOVE btw...)

I have been needing to be able to copy text (or a link) from one email to another and I have figured out how to copy the text which I learned is only possible with Gmail and not in other email accounts. (not sure why this is but it's okay, I can deal with that for now)

My question is... Once I "Select" the text and a little thing pops up that says "Text copied to clipboard" How do I "Paste" this "Copied" text into another email I am writing on the phone from scratch?? I just dont know how to Paste the copied text because once it's copied and I go into my "New" email and click the far left button, the menu doesn't give me any options for "Paste"

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated,

Thanks a bunch in advance!!

First, welcome to Android :)

Once you have done the copy, switch to the new email and long-press on the area where you wish to paste. You will get a menu and one of the choices will be "Paste." This is how it works in gMail.
