wondering.... if maps lied? husband thinks im an idiot

if my husband says hes one place and his phone is at a completely different location across town.....is maps that far off????? EVERRRRRR? IM TALKING 50 MILES???? possible??? yes or no?
 
oh i forgot to mention that maps put him at his exs house..... all day and half the night, but he tells me or thats just old data from when i was dating her.....its not what it looks like
 
im still smiling though......even thpugh i know for a fact that it was correct....off by 2 houses.... i know cause i was sitting in my friends truck watching when he came out the door ...kissed her goodbye and drove off. i guess what i was looking for here was some kind of way to prove to him that its impossible for google to set him up lmaoooooo but he keeps saying thats from the past....i know and have always known what he is but had to confirm that its highly unlikely that past searches and maps could update their day and time......but not their location.....BUT IM THE DUMB ONE HE SAYS

Don't divorce him yet @MICHELLE BRYANT. Their may be a legitimate reason he was there that long. Maybe.

He does know that it's pretty easy to turn off location sharing? (I'm not saying who the dumb one is here ... but if the digital footprint fits ... ;)

I will say I do share location with my wife and at times she will lose the GPS signal, especially at work and Google will try to triangulate using the network locations, but it's usually off by half a mile, not 50.

Theoretically, a cell phone can be as far away as 45 miles from the tower to pick up a signal, but given density and geography, 20 miles should be considered the workable maximum. 50 miles just ain't going to happen.
 
Damn thank God I am single - it's just a nightmare having somebody!

All that back stabbing lying, cheating and thieving that goes on... If people wanted that kind of lifestyle why not join the local gang or something?

It's much easier that way :)

At least the surprises in the mafia won't really shock one as much when they come to back stab you :)


You can't seem to trust anybody these days hey ;)

I wonder when we will design partner robots that will never betray us?

Most people have it turned on/enabled without knowing and it gives a very specific account of locations and route traveled by date. Of course you need to be logged into the Google account to view the details.

On the one hand I'm happy you found "the truth" and confirmed your suspicions but sorry you're having to go through this... best of luck.

16 hours? Maybe a pipe burst in her basement and in a panic she called him for help. That could take 16 hours to fix the leak and then pump out the water ... and she was just thanking him for his services. :rolleyes:

HAHAHA ...no doubt the latter..wouldn't be the 1st...its #14 in 7 years together....I'm numb I guess....first time I seen it with my own eyes....THANKS GOOGLE lol I couldn't of caught him without ya
 
its pretty obvious hes cheating or doing something hes hiding something cause Google Maps is more accurate with Directions and locations, using Apples GPS is like trying to use a old broken compass to figure out what direction your going, trust me its known for guys this generation to act and do those kind of thing like no guy would kiss their ex in any way, hug yes but never a kiss especially if their married..but if google says hes 50 miles away its not from the past history if it tell you he is over 16 hours cause google updates their location every 5 to 15 mins if GPS on..P.S your husband is a moron and your smart :)

plus if he was doing anything he wouldn't of been so defensive about it lol whenever im do something i didnt do i always am calm about the situation, but when ever i lie i'll be defensive about it and upset lol
