Help WonderMedia 8650

I have a WonderMedia WM8650 which works OK except if I try to download any apps from within its menu. The tablet will say it is downloading then comes up with "download of ......... unsuccessful", happens to all download attempts. Would appreciate any advice on how to solve this issue.
