Wonky GPS

I have only been using my new N5 for a week or so, but the GPS performance is not what i'd hoped for.

It is quick to lock onto a position...quite the change from my N4.

However, it seems to constantly be shifting my position within about 50' or so.

Using a GPS app shows that the signal strength of the different satellites is much less than the same app showed with the N4.

Also, my onboard compass seems to be about 90 degrees off....and no amount of "figure-8" waving helps.


Any observations from y'all?

I haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet. I know it locks on much quicker than my gnex did, but haven't used it for navigation.

I do know that my compass seems to be working normally.

Well, I live in the back woods, so I haven't yet tried it on the open highway, but it works well out here
