i have an android tablet....with jellybean 4.1
it is of a not very popular brand......(beyond)

i am having a problem that my tablet is not connecting to my wifi router.
when i add the network it says that it is not in range.
the network has WEP security.others in family also have phones and tabs but they are not experiencing any problem in connecting to the same connection .

AND LET ME TELL YOU ONE MORE THING........ NO OTHER WIFI CONNECTIONS ARE BEING SHOWN IN THE LIST.

to be honest i seriously don't know anything about gadgets ...........so plz if u can help me ....then plz help me guys.....

If it's not seeing your router at all, the most likely reason is that your tablet only handles the older 2.4GHz wifi band, and your router is operating on the 5GHz band. I've never seen a 5gig-only device; it seems they are low band only or dual band. HTH!
