If your Galaxy Tab won't turn On, follow these steps:
Connect and charge the device using the factory travel charger for 1 hour.
Note: The battery charging indicator may take up to 10 minutes to appear on the tablet's LCD screen.
Disconnect the device and then attempt to turn it on by holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds. Samsung Galaxy Tab will appear.
If the device turns On, the device needed to be charged. Turn Off the device and reconnect it to the factory travel charger for an additional 6 hours.
If the device fails to turn On, contact Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864) for additional assistance.
Note: If you don't have access to the factory travel charger you can charge the device using the USB connection on your PC, but the device will require twice as much time to charge (approximately up to 10 hours). Your device will need to be powered off in order to charge.
Best of luck to you w/your tablet. Please re-post w/your outcome.
