wont send/recieve text/calls

[Android Question]

I have a brand new T-Mobile lg and it will randomly just not send my texts even when I have full service. then when I try to call the person it will open the call but then just end before it even connects. my phone bill is paid. I've restarted the phone. tried turning on and off airplane mode to. nothing is working. I don't have enough money for a new phone and my work needs to get ahold of me.

It sounds like you've done everything that anyone here would recommend. Since none of the common steps seem to be working, you should probably think about taking it back to your T-Mo store. It sounds like there may be an issue with the phone itself.
