Wont turn on or charge constant black screen

Hello iv been having problems with my samsung galaxy s2 it wasn't charging but the hone worked so i changed the charging port on the phone charged a batter on a different samsung s2 and it wont power on has anyone had this problem and knows what to do? just so you all know it does not show the Samsung Galaxy screen as it normally would when turning on

If it was working (apart from charging) before you replaced the component, and now does not power on at all, the obvious implication is that your repair attempt has broken or disconnected something. Sorry, but that's the simplest explanation for the facts given

Did the port work as a usb port before the repair, or was it completely broken? If it was only charging that didn't work the problem might not have been the port itself.
