I love these two games, but I never realized until now that the notifications for this game were destroying my battery.
I feel silly for not realizing that each app checking for new updates every 5 minutes wouldn't kill my battery, but even so it never registered very high on my battery usage, 15% tops.
Anyways, I since disabled the notifications for both games and have been using my phone pretty heavily today and I still have 40% battery left. It's been running for nearly 12 hours. Best battery life I've had in a long time.
Has anyone else disabled this notifications? I hope they enable push notifications soon, but it seems doubtful.
