Words With Friends - No notification sound?

I recently installed WWF to play against some friends of mine, but I noticed I am getting no notification sounds. I checked and notifications are turned up on the phone, and checked in the app. But I am only getting the visual notifications, and no sounds.

Anyone else run into this problem?

having trouble with words with friends. after submiting my word, my partner submits their word it comes back to me on the scoreboard as my partners turn. but on the who played last word on the top of screen it still registers my name and is frozen. any ideas how to fix it. itried rebooting by resting the battery and still nothing., hurry respond please
