Game 1 of the World Series between the Texas Rangers And the Arizona Diamondbacks is Friday. The teams were the least likely to make the series. It should be an interesting series and I hope entertaining.
Does anyone have a dog in this fight? I need a team to root for.

They are both good teams. It should be a good 7 game series. I have no favorite, but with all of my wife's relative in Arizona I suppose I'll root a bit for the Diamond backs

Here's what my Arizona niece sent me in a text for the bottom of the 9th inning yesterday. She couldn't watch it 🤣

I guess I have a Texas connection as well. I was born in Texas though my folks moved to Kansas when I was two and decided to take me with them Their mistake

If you like offense in baseball, game 1 of the World Series is starting out to be that type of game.

It's been a good game! That slide home by AZ was nice'

I was saying no no no as he was headed home. It was a great slide and he would have been out with a better throw home. Not that it was a bad throw but left the catcher a bit short of the line and away from the plate. A bit deeper throw or closer to home would have likely been an out instead of a run.

At least we didn't give them the game in the 9th. That two run homer to tie the game was a heart breaker. Time to step up our game.

It was an entertaining game to watch but the wrong team won. I felt the L coming when we let them tie the game in the 9th

AZ has some real shitty relief pitchers. Both pitchers in the extra innings had a +4.00 ERA. 4.31 & 4.18

Both teams are pretty mediocre on a good day so it's really just s crapshoot at this point. Go Diamondbacks though.
