Root worth it if your going to root?

Hey is it worth getting this phone now? i live in Canada and their arent that many android phones with keyboards, and i hear that if you root the phone its pretty fast. I was thinking of the backflip and the cliq but their are not able to be rooted.

I am getting the phone for 175.

The only reason you shouldn't root this phone is if you are uncomfortable with the rooting process. Be sure to familiarize yourself with one of the thousands of rooting tutorials out there, then make the call based on your level of experience and willingness to risk a potential (but very rare) brick.

Once the process is done, your enjoyment of the phone will only go up.
