Apps Would this be hard to do ?

Hi guys,

I have an ip relay board for home automation with a list of commands that are used over internet, I want to build an app for my android phone that will turn the relays on and off and show the state, I have installed the android sdk on my pc, would this be mega difficult or quite easy ?, if anybody could give me any ideas where to start or know of a tutorial I would be most grateful...
