Would you recommend i buy this?! Thx

I got the NVIDIA Shield Android TV and, after a whopping day and a half, I'm sending it back. No HDMI pass-through, very few compatible apps. It's great for watching 4K UHD streams of YouTube and Netflicks. And any media you've purchased through Google (if you can afford it). Essentially, it's more of a gaming platform than it is a media streaming device.

In its place, I'll try out the Vilso Ti4 Android TV box with XBMC. It will be here tomorrow. You may want to check it out and see how it compares to the AB M8.

I have an m8 box and after a few teething problems which iv sorted out myself i can say id recommend one, wifi signal is good but im using an ethernet cable now, no buffering and films play as they should

I like the M8. Plenty to stream, very few sources buffer at all... and NO ENDLESS COMMERCIALS! Now to get my technologically-impaired Darling Bride to not only learn it, but love it. I'll cut the dish out once and for all.

:)

I also have an M8 and love it there is so much content, nice easy device to use. Would recommend you order a wireless keyboard remote too as it makes your life so much easier. The remote that come with the M8 is made by Satan :)

Let me remind folks that discussions about pirating streaming content are not allowed.:)
