I thought I would give a little word here about what I'm doing with the app, so here goes:
It has been a little while since I first created this app. It has come a long way, at least in terms of app architecture, if I do say so myself. I know it has some bugs still, and they have stemmed from my ignorance of how the Android system works. I am glad to say that this has been corrected recently. So here is what I came to tell you all about, updates:
First of all I am going to fix all the Force Close issues that are remaining.
Second, I am going I am going to fix the issue of the realm list cutting off after a certain point. This stemmed from how I was retrieving the status and the main cause was that the user would interrupt the process and therefore truncate my retrieval process. This will be fixed.
Another requested feature was to add notifications, this will be done with my reworking of the code.
Also maybe not in the next version, but the one after that I will be adding a nifty widget you can place on your home screen.
So that is what you have to look forward to. Unfortunately, I don't have time to work on it all the time, between work and my other side project (a game for Android, make sure to watch out for it), but I hope to have something working by the end of the month.
