Wow! T-Mobile is so stupid.

I was planning to go to my local T-Mobile store this weekend and buy the Exhibit II under the $30/month prepaid plan, but when I called the store to confirm pricing, they told me that if I buy the phone from them, I have to get the $60/month plan and that if I want the $30/month plan, I need to buy it online or by phone from T-Mobile.

I was hoping to get it this weekend because my current monthly plan with VM ends tomorrow and this would have been perfect timing. Now, if I want it, I'll have to wait for delivery and who knows how long that takes.

Why wouldn't the store give me the same plan as T-Mobile HQ?

Because it is an online/ walmart exclusive and clearly says it on their website. Get the prepaid exhibit 2 from walmart... it's cheaper and it comes with everything you need to activate it... and exactly the same as the post paid version...
