wrong gmail account entered

I have TWO gmail accounts. One very old that I never use. One that I use quite a bit.

While setting up my droid for me, my husband entered the wrong gmail account. I can't seem to change it. There is a tiny "lock" icon next to the gmail user id. The droid won't let me add an additional gmail account.

So my husband had me delete my gmail account from my computer. So now I don't have that wrong gmail account available anymore, but the droid STILL won't let me add a new gmail account user id.

How do you change your gmail account on your droid?
