Help Wrong gmail password - happening since I got the phone

This has been happening to me since I got my phone. My mailbox wouldn't update when I pushed the refresh button, but I had no problems receiving and sending emails, so I pretty much just ignored it. Unfortunately, I stupidly removed the sim card and now my phone is completely inoperable because it requires me to input the password in order to do anything. Unlike the numerous other people with this problem, I never have had 2 step verification activated, and I cannot access my phone settings to try any other solutions.

Things I've tried:
Restarting the phone.
Verified the password is correct on my computer.
Tried every single password I've ever used in my life.
Changing my gmail password on my computer and trying the new one.

I refuse to reset to factory settings.

Change the gmail password...

The sim card...sounds like you'll need to disable the sim card security...call customer service for help.
