Wrong messages sound... sometimes

I have "Pure Bell" set as my Messages notification which it uses most of the time. Sometimes however it uses "Smile" instead. I have looked through the notifications and don't fin anything that has "Smile" selected as its sound. Ideas?

Sometimes the notification tone is handled by the app that generates the notification. Have you noticed if the 'smile' sound is played only when certain apps send notifications? If so, then look in that app's settings for a custom tone.

No, the Messages app would use either what is set as default or possibly a custom tone assigned in contacts. Is this only for text messages? Then look at that particular contact to see if you have 'smile' as the notification tone for text messages.

I checked a contact and the first on was wrong but it wasn't 'Smile' it was 'default sound'. Is there any way to set all of the my contacts at the same time without going through all of them individually?
