Wrong WEP Code

have android icecrean sandwich and need to change the saved wep code. it tells me secured with wep but i cannot find how to change what is saved. can you help?

NO! Im not talking about a password. The problem is the saved WEP security code was entered incorrectly and needs to be changed. I did the forget option but I never get access to change the saved WEP security code. I see there is a good signal from my wireless router but with the incorrect WEP code I cannot connect to it.

Menu settings wifi
Select the network in question
Select forget
Turn off wifi
Turn on wifi
Menu settings wifi should re detect the network and when selected should ask for the wep code

On jellybean if you long press a network in the list you get the option to edit the network config including the password. You dont need to be connected to do this.

I NEED to know how to reset my WEP security code. I tried to connect to network, when I got the chance I chose to "forget" the network. I turned off WiFi and then turned it back on. It continually shows the network anyway secured by WEP and asking for my password but, no matter what I've tried it shows secured by WEP and I cannot fix it! AHHHhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a factory reset. When I pull up WiFi settings, theres the network with WEP that I cannot fix! I have Android 4.0.4. PLEASE... can someone help me fix this problem?
