Root WTA: Problems Change Operator LG VS920

Hi,

I've been trying to make this LG VS920 to be used with my Indonesian operator Smartfren.

At first I have this phone it does work with Smartfren RUIM, but the signal is not stable. Then when I tried to use NV, my operator doesn't allow to pass akey anymore, so I revert it back to RUIM.

Then the phone got bricked because I change NAM setting in RUIM mode, already bring it back on with restore using LGNPST.
Then flashed to stock deodexed, after that going to CM10.1, after that going back to stock deodexed, but then I noticed that I can use NV mode again, before when I switch to NV using DFS the phone doesn't say that it need SIM Card to operate, but now it said that need SIM to operate...if I put my RUIM or SIM from VZW the notification gone but it can't get signal.

Already tried to flashed back (without removing CWM) to stock using LGNPST but still can't get to NV only...I tried to get to NV because the phone data is not good although it said 3G and connected to EVDO but very slow.

Is there anyway to get my NV only work? btw if I plug to USB the USB mode still can't recognize, I still have to reboot the phone, is the CWM still installed? Although I already flashed it to stock using LGNPST.

Do this command with ADB.

ADB reboot recovery

If you get kicked into CWM, then you still have it installed. If you just see a green android and a box with an arrow, then you are on stock. I don't have answers for the rest as no one is having luck getting this phone to work well with other carriers.

Thanks...i guess i'm on Stock because only green android that shows up.

I've searched entire forum and come across from VS910 test mode thread, I guess my phone is having the same problem, that enter the test mode...sometime it can connect to 1x to get voice and sms working otherwise only data on evdo but the speed is really slow. And the PRL always displayed unknown or 40000.

is anyone had this problem before?

I noticed the same when I made the Spectrum vs920 work with Pageplus in new York . It happens when using non stock roms or when using cdma or dfs tools softwares to update PRL's without writing the nv mode again . When trying for Virgin Mobile it keeps reverting to wcdm preferred mode .I believe this is because the hardware radio of the phone is written for Verizon towers . For Pageplus is very compatible since they use Verizon towers, so if you have a similar to Verizon radios carriers where you are , it might not go back to sim/ruim mode provided you flash the nv mode and don't change to roms such as 10.1 rom . These Jelly bean roms only have usb modes to file sharing and not the adb mode to program phones. But the main thing if you want to use Jellybean roms is to try compatible carriers with whoever carrier sells the Spectrum in your country or a carrier that represents Verizon in your country.
