WTF: Fullscreen in Youtube not available anymore????

I'm getting so sick of the changes that these idiots keep making to our personal devices where it's removing features without notifying you.... does fullscreen on Youtube even work anymore or even available on the YouTube App???

Already tried: turning the device sideways & checking 'auto rotate.

It should work. You just need to turn your device sideways.
If that doesn't work, check if auto-rotate is on.

Really? I should turn my phone sideways? What if the numbers fall off? LOL. Of course.

Most of the time, things are not all that simple my friend. That was the first thing I tried. I'm very familiar with smartphones.

OP, try uninstalling and then re-installing your youtube app. Fullscreen and HQ work wonderfully for me. They definitely did not remove that feature.

Okay, so it seems that autorotate is not working at all. It seems to do it randomly but even then, it is rare. So, I've done a number of phone resets and not sure what else to do at this point....

Maybe try recalibrating the gyro? It's under Settings> Motion> Sensitivity settings> Gyroscope calibration.

Heyjoojoo, that's quite the problem then. Usually an un-install/re-install will fix something like that. Have you tried clearing the cache on your phone? Also have you tried deleting the app data for youtube? In a last/worst case scenario, factory reset probably fixes your issue.

If it's not rooted, how would one clear the cache?
