Help x10 Can't detect wireless modem

I am unable to connect to my BoB wireless router.

Both of the laptops in my home can see/connect to it.

The phone is unable to detect it.
When I manually enter details it states that the location is not in range, even when i stand directly next to it.

The phone detects one of the other private wireless networks in the area.

I have tried restarting the modem.
As far as I know all of the wireless settings are enabled on my phone.
I can't find anything on the router settings page that is preventing it.

Any ideas on what I may have missed or how to fix it would be appriciated.

Thanks heaps.

Things you can do on the router, restart the router.

Change the encryption type on the router...make sure it is broadcasting your SSID...if it doesn't broadcast it, it might not work.

On the phone the only option is really to turn the phone off, and back on.

Basically it is most likely the router. Even though it works with your laptop and other computer.

On my friends router I had to turn off the encryption on the router, then I turned on WPA-PSK...PSK2 had a problem when I was trying to connect....think it was the crap router.
