I want to trade it for a working one. So what is the verdict? Prefer the hdmi model that has the seal intact, as mine does not. I want a working one. I don't need cords, and you should not send yours.

microsoft warrantys the rrod for 3 years now from date of purchase, so maybe u can get it fixed. they fixed mine.

As his seal is no longer intact he will likely not be able to have it repaired by Microsoft. Good luck with your search.
