Did you follow the instructions? Can't test it myself as I don't use Windows. You might have to edit your XLS file in Excel so it's compatible with the converter. But even with any converter like this, the source XLS has to be something that can be converted into a usable Vcard VCF file.
How to use:
1. Please make sure the Excel file is containing only the valid Column listed in the sample file.
2. Before selecting the Excel file please set the row where the column names are present and contact details are present. ( I know the program flow is wrong , it will be corrected in next version).
3. Select the appropriate Excel file, the data present inside the excel is read and displayed in the application if its not reading correctly please tweak the row numbers and the column names appropriately till the required data is properly read inside the tool.
4. Finally click on the create Vcf file , select the required folder. Vcf file will be created.
a) Vcf file name is given accordingly "LAST NAME" "FIRST NAME".vcf
b) Individual Vcf is created for individual contacts.
This is in early stages of development for any bug report please post a comment in my blog.
This is tested on Windows 7 with Office 2010
