XP help.

Okay, not android related...


I've dug out an old XP laptopit run perfectly and surprisingly fast.

It connect to the internet, but doesn't let me load a website.

lie IE will just load and load

and it's not a speed issue, just won't load.

Nor will any other internet using program.

Any idea?

It has and knows all the IP address and stuff

Okay, apparently firefox works perfectly, but any other program needing the internet doesn't.

Any ideas?

Try this, Start Ie, goto Tools, internet options, connections...make sure it is set to lan (never dial a connection), if it is set to lan, click on lan settings and make sure proxy isn't set. Those are two major issues with ie or other programs not working, but firefox working....otherwise it is a firewall or security program. Let me know if that works or not and I can give you information on where to go from there.
