Xperia J, Three Network, WhatsApp/Messaging issue

Hi

I have an Xperia J on the Three Network.

When I first bought it It had an option within the messaging option of either using the normal messaging service or WhatsApp.

I wasn't using WhatsApp at the time so somehow deleted the option. I now want to use WhatsApp and have reinstalled it but I no longer get the option to use it when I click on messaging - I just get the option of using the normal messaging service.

Any advice would be greatly received.

Hi and welcome.

Back up your apps and data, then do a factory reset. That will put the phone back to the way it was when you bought it.

Then, when you get the option for Whatsapp you can choose it. Then restore your apps and data from backup.
