How well does the Sony Xperia transfer utility work ? I'm looking to transfer my iPad to my Xperia Z4 tablet using the Sony cable to cable adapter.

I've never tried it so can't be of much help on that.
Seeing as it's USB 2.0 I'd imagine it's quite slow.
