Help Xperia - Wrong Password - Google Account?

Hi Chaps,

Got an Xperia off eBay and it has been great for a few weeks, this was until my mates tried to get my pin code and now it's asking for the Google Account to sign in?

I've emailed the seller who isn't understandably willing to give me the username and password. Is there any other way around this?

Not quite sure I understand what's happening. What are you trying to sign into and what pin code are you talking about? The only thing that I know you have to link an account to as far as setting up your phone is the Market. If that's the case, go to settings/account&sync, click on the google account listed, then select "remove account". Then you'll just have to link your phone to your own google account and you should be good to go, if my assumption is correct.

Sounds like you are referring to the lock screen for the phone. In Android 2.2 and higher you can do pattern or pin code entry.

I think it's best to flash the phone and start fresh by using Sony Ericsson update service and use your own google account settings.
