Help Xperia X10 - shows new email but nothing there??

Hi there,

i hope someone can help me on this.

Lately my X10 is giving me a headache: I have a few emails on there and some of them show that there is new emails, but when i click on the email, there is nothing there.

Restarting the phone didnt help, taking out the sim card and battery didnt help.

The only way i found was to delete the emails affected and then readd them into the emails i used.

Is there any better way of getting rid of this new email notification?

It says i have the most up to date software
firmware version 2.1 update 1
build # 2.1.A.0435

What app?

Are you just talking about the SYNC? Are you using a Gmail account or another email account? What other email provider?

I you are only doing a sync using a gmail account, there are 2 places you need to turn the sync on. One, in the account, where the sync is set to green and active. And the other, you NEED to add the Power Control Widget on one of your homescreens and you need to have the sync button turned on there.
