Xperia Z1 inverting menu colours

[Android Question]

Hi there
Currently a dissalusioned iPhone 4S owner looking to move to Android. Really like the look of the Z1 but I'm partially sighted and find the standard menus hard to read. Looking to get a scheme/ theme much like a Galaxy S4. Can this be done on the Z1? Had a play with ine in store but me and the sales guy couldn't find a way.

I think you would have to root your phone first. Just like jailbreaking the iPhone, however there doesn't seem to be a rooting guide at this site yet.
