XT926 Stock 4.4.2 183.46.10 and 183.46.15 Performance Tweak

Root Required.
This single tweak has fixed the lag in 4.4.2 without any side effects.
I have no idea why Moto decided to double a Google default value on a device with only 1GB of RAM. Even the Facebook app does not need over 128m of RAM, and it is a HOG!

Save a copy of system/build.prop and do a nandroid backup.

Current Stock Moto: Phone gets laggy over time and needs a reboot.
dalvik.vm.heapsize=256m

Current Google 4.4.x Recommended Default: Worked good.
dalvik.vm.heapsize=128m

My Setting: Works best for me
dalvik.vm.heapsize=96m

I could not get any file manager and text editor internally to change the file. I could open change permission's even the /system folder permissions but it refused to save, had to copy to SD card, edit with PC, save the file, copy it back to system folder and then change permissions again. Oh what fun. I changed it as well to 96m. No apparent reboot issues or speed enhancement but we shall see how it fares over time without a reboot.

ES File Explorer in root R/W mode. Make sure to change permissions back to rw r r (644) for those people who are not familiar with boot loops. lol ES preserves them though.

Tried that to no avail as well, not sure why it would not work but my procedure did. I had to ensure the properties as well before reboot too. I was not looking forwards to reboot loops.
