Yahoo! mail notification

Not sure what I did to cause this, but whenever I turn off background data to save battery power, I get a notification from Yahoo! mail that I need to turn it back on.

After I turn background data back on and it re-syncs itself, the notification goes away until I turn it off again.

Any idea?

You have done nothing wrong. Yahoo email uses the data network(background data) to update/send/receive emails. There is nothing you can do to fix this except to turn on your data network back on as you have. Also, if you want to continue turning off the background data service, you can log out of Yahoo until you are ready to use it each time. Just be aware that other apps also use the background data feature in order to update themself behind the scenes so it's really not a good idea to turn this feature off.
