Year round time lapse with phone

Everyone, I had a good idea.
I've been blessed with a pretty rad view at my bedroom window and I've always wanted to see what it would look like if I took a picture from the same angle every single day of the scenery for an entire year. I was thinking I could have a dock in the corner of my window and every morning my phone would automatically take a picture. How can I automate my phone to take a picture at a certain time every day?

That's more like an Android Lounge thing. There really are apps for that. A tripod mount wouldn't hurt either but it doesn't necessarily have to be Smart.
