Yellow triangle with ! when trying to charge Galaxy 2

My Galaxy 2 tab went black. I tried to charge it but nothing happened. I let it sit about a week and tried to charge again. This time the battery sign came up but there was a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark over the battery. The screen stayed on for about ten seconds and went black again. I tried holding the start button while touching the screen and that did not seem to do anything. I tried the same procedure with the unit plugged in and the Samsung screen came up but was replaced with the battery sign with the yellow triangle, and promptly turned black again. Is it time to go to the Samsung guys?

It sounds like your battery has had it. Since batteries are not user-replaceable in the Tab 2, then you will have to go to a dealer/repair facility.
